A little bit of Diwali, six times over. Six hand-thrown terracotta kulhads, each filled with five fat, sunny marigolds (genda): the flower of every puja thali, in the cup of every chai stall.

Line them along the mandir shelf or between the diyas, run them down the dining table for the Diwali dinner, or take one to each neighbour instead of a box of mithai. Together they make a whole room feel festive.
